This color sensor module converts light intensity into a frequency output, enabling accurate detection of red, green, blue, and clear light components. The TCS3200 color recognition module integrates the original TAOS TCS3200 sensor IC with onboard white LEDs to provide consistent illumination. It outputs a square-wave signal whose frequency is directly proportional to the detected light intensity, allowing direct interfacing with Arduino Uno, ESP8266, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, PIC, AVR, and other microcontrollers without additional ADC hardware.
