Mixing and Preparation Instructions:

• Prepare the Components: Ensure Part A and Part B containers are clean and free from contamination.

• Measure by Weight: Weigh equal quantities of Part A and Part B using an accurate digital scale.

• Mix Thoroughly: Combine both components and mix carefully until the material has a uniform appearance.

• Avoid Air Entrapment: Mix slowly and carefully to minimise air bubbles. Vacuum degassing may be used if suitable equipment is available.

• Prepare the Mould: Ensure the mould is clean, dry, and compatible with platinum-cure silicone.

• Pour Carefully: Pour the mixed silicone slowly into the mould to minimise trapped air.

• Allow Curing: Leave the material undisturbed at approximately 25°C for the specified curing period of 3–6 hours.

• Demould: Remove the cured silicone carefully after it has sufficiently set.

Important Usage Notes:

• Maintain the specified 1:1 mixing ratio by weight for consistent curing.

• The pot life is approximately 20–40 minutes at 25°C. Prepare only the quantity that can be used within this working period.

• Curing time is approximately 3–6 hours at 25°C. Actual results may vary with working conditions and material preparation.

• Use clean mixing containers and tools to avoid contamination.

• Platinum-cure silicone can be inhibited by certain contaminants, including some sulphur-containing materials, amines, and incompatible mould-making materials. Test compatibility before full production.

• Keep Part A and Part B containers properly sealed when not in use.
