MAX30100 is an integrated pulse oximeter and heart-rate monitor sensor solution. It’s an optical sensor that derives its readings from emitting two wavelengths of light from two LEDs – a red and an infrared one – then measuring the absorbance of pulsing blood through a photodetector. This particular LED colour combination is optimized for reading the data through the tip of one’s finger. It is fully configurable through software registers and the digital output data is stored in a 16-deep FIFO within the device.It has an I2C digital interface to communicate with a host microcontroller.
The pulse oximetry subsystem in MAX30100 consists of ambient light cancellation (ALC), 16-bit sigma delta ADC, and proprietary discrete time filter. It has an ultra-low-power operation which makes it ideal for battery operated systems. MAX30100 operates on a supply in the range of 1.8 to 3.3V.It can be used in wearable devices, fitness assistant devices, medical monitoring devices, etc.The MAX30100 operates from 1.8V and 3.3V power supplies and can be powered down through software with negligible standby current, permitting the power supply to remain connected at all times.

ছোট আকারের কিন্তু কাজ অসাধারণ। আমার fitness band প্রজেক্টে লাগিয়েছি, ব্যাটারি খরচও কম। ইন্টারফেস করতে বেশি ঝামেলা হয়নি। যারা DIY ভালোবাসেন তাদের জন্য দারুণ একটা জিনিস।

আমি Arduino প্রজেক্টে ব্যবহার করেছি। সেন্সরটা খুবই ভালো কাজ করছে। হার্ট রেট আর SpO2 দুটোই প্রায় accurate আসে। প্যাকেজিংও ছিল দারুণ। এই দামে এত ভালো পণ্য পাওয়া যায় ভাবিনি।

Ami kichu din dhore use korchi. Khub smoothly kaj kore. Surface mount soldering ektu tricky, but breakout board ta prepared thakay easy hoy. Heart rate sensor er jonno e price er moddhe best option mone holo.

Works as expected with my ESP32. The I2C interface is simple and the register setup is straightforward. Finger placement matters a bit, but after a few tries the readings stabilize. Decent little module for wearable projects.

Good little sensor for the price. The included breakout board makes it easy to solder and connect. I used the Arduino library and got heart rate readings quickly. Just keep the finger still and it works fine.

Really compact and responsive. I connected it to a PIC microcontroller and the readings are reliable enough for a health monitor project. The I2C communication is solid. Definitely value for money.

আমার ছোট ভাইয়ের জন্য কিনেছিলাম। ও Arduino-র সাথে মিলিয়ে ভালো রেজাল্ট পেয়েছে। তবে প্রথমে একটু calibration করতে হয়। সামগ্রিকভাবে পণ্যটি দামের তুলনায় ভালো।
