The module uses the AD8232 integrated signal-conditioning system to amplify and filter small biopotential signals while reducing unwanted noise and motion-related interference. AD8232 ECG Signal Conditioning

The AD8232 is an integrated signal-conditioning block designed to extract and amplify small biopotential signals. ECG signals can be very small and susceptible to interference from movement, electrode placement and surrounding electrical noise. The module's filtering and amplification circuitry helps produce a more usable analog signal for subsequent processing.

  • High-pass filtering helps reduce low-frequency disturbances and electrode-related offsets.
