Applications:

• Outdoor parks, scenic spots, and commercial streets requiring high-density WiFi coverage.
• Multi-device outdoor networks where a 2.5G WAN uplink and high user capacity are needed.
• Mesh WiFi expansion across outdoor areas using multiple CF-WA973 access points.
• Wireless coverage for outdoor networking projects that require an IP67-rated AP.

How to Use:

1. Mount the access point using the supported wall-mount or pole-mount method.
2. Connect the 2.5G WAN RJ45 port to the upstream router, switch, or network using a suitable Ethernet cable.
3. Use the LAN RJ45 port for a local wired connection when required.
4. Power the unit through a compatible 48V/0.5A PoE source as specified on the product page.
5. Use the RESET button if a reset is required. For Mesh deployment, multiple APs can sync to form a unified network as described by the manufacturer.

Installation and Wiring:

The CF-WA973 uses RJ45 Ethernet for its WAN and LAN connections and requires a 48V/0.5A PoE power source. For outdoor installation, mount the unit securely and ensure cable connectors are protected so that the IP67 housing rating is maintained. BDTronics lists the CF-WA973 for outdoor wireless coverage and Mesh expansion projects where a 2.5G uplink and weatherproof housing are required. Confirm the PoE injector or PoE switch, plug type, and mounting hardware before installation because package contents are not detailed in the supplied product data.

Compatibility:

• The 2.5G WAN port accepts 10/100/1000/2500Mbps Ethernet links.
• The LAN port accepts 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet links.
• PoE operation requires a compatible 48V/0.5A power source.
• Mesh expansion is described for multiple APs forming a unified network.

Safety Information:

• Use only the specified 48V/0.5A PoE power method and avoid connecting an incompatible power source.
• Operate within the listed -10°C to 55°C temperature range.
• Install securely on a wall or pole and protect outdoor cable connections to maintain IP67 protection.
• Do not exceed the listed power consumption and port specifications.
