The XH-M404 is a high-efficiency, non-isolated DC-DC step-down (buck) converter module based on the XL4016E1 switching regulator chip. It converts an input voltage ranging from 4V to 40V DC down to an adjustable output of 1.25V to 36V DC. This module supports up to 8A output current with an external cooling fan and delivers a maximum power of 200W, making it suitable for a wide range of high-power DC applications.

This module features digital PWM control, excellent efficiency (up to 94%), and integrated safety protections including current limiting, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery. A built-in potentiometer allows for precise voltage adjustment using a multimeter for reference.
