This brand stepper motor has relatively high high-holding torque that gives the user the ability to incrementally “step” to the next position. This results in a simple positioning system that doesn’t require an encoder and makes stepper motor controllers very simple to build and use.
This specific NEMA 17 Stepper Motor offers 73 oz.in of torque and 200 steps per revolution. Additionally, the motor comes with a cable with JST and Dupont connector at each end.
